    He is quite quick for a big man Jimmy, I do think it's a bit unfair to say in his professional career he's never made any runs, the lads a monster not a sedentary old man <laugh>

    just because villa used used him one way, doesn't mean with consistent training wth us he can't play another way. He's pretty quick and mobile so if forced to I'm sure he can adapt but until he gets 6 months under his belt we won't know for sure

    Suarez wasn't the quickest either. It's not all about pace sometimes, I think people can be quick too disregard a striker nowadays because they aren't super quick. Lewondoski (sp), Drogba, Rooney, Ibra.. They're all big(ish) men, and play/played in teams which play good football. It's all about how utilise them.

    Only 13 of his 42 league goals for Villa were scored with his head - 31%.

    No, but I do watch a lot of football and I download past games so I can form an opinion on players without resorting to YouTube or MOTD.

    He's not mobile though. I'm not sure why fans think this - he may make the odd run here and there but he's lazy. You want to attack Mario for being 'lazy' but then you can't say that Benteke is mobile.

    And if you want a better understanding of what he will be like with better players around him, then watch him for Belgium. He has Hazard and De Bruyne around him who actually avoid playing the ball to him because he slows down the attacks or loses possession.

    You're wrong on htis one Jimmy (unfortunately ffs) this lad is a far better player than you're giving him credit for.

    The only question mark over him is his injury record for me. As he had a ruptured achilles. He appears to have got over it, but I've not seen that much of him to judge his mobility back end of last season. It ruined Yakubu that injury.
