Thats the issue. Much like Suarez who would go down easy at times when he first came in, he actually cut s lot of it out of his game but would still be denies a lot of valid free kicks / pens because of it.

He's got 4 years left.

 

He'll definitely start almost every game as he's our biggest threat going forward by a mile, he's first name on the teamsheet for me. He was very raw at the beginning of last year and joined late yet still got 10 league goals. He got better and better as the year went on, and now I think he's upto speed and with a full pre season behind him I can see him running riot this year. I could be wrong of course, but I think at £8m (on FF) it's well worth a gamble.

EDIT: Just to add I think he's the next one (along with Wanyama) who will attract attention from bigger clubs, apparently Bayern are keeping tabs on him

 

2019... Everton can put £49m on him. If United are that desperate they have to pay up. Same class with Sterling.

The crazy deals in the £30-50m bracket are for the limited few.

The rest of the league is going to get cut off from the elite group with the new CL deal that starts this season, enabling the top clubs to flex their financial muscles. Add into that mix the legal challenge to FFP which will see it watered down to a token statement of intent, and the oil clubs will have free reign again.

PL football is on it's way to hell in handcart. I'm becoming increasingly disillusioned with it.

 

He did have a **** year and was a 1 goal in 3 game striker though so probably reduced his value a bit... 10 goals in 30 odd games)

His record at Everton is 36 in 81.

He knows if he's going to fulfill his ambition then he needs a massive season this year though. I think he'll be a monster this season.

Doubt you'll be getting top 6 anyway, even if both of them end up staying.

Your team requires quite a lot of improving to get to 6th place or higher.
