Thats not my forcast but a response to Roslers job prospects after 6 games. The most I expect this season is around 10th place with 62 - 65 pts. Whats your idea of position and points?
Right or wrong, love him or loath him you have to admit wants to move us forward towards PL We may not agree with his methods
I don't share your opinion. He wants to make a profit and have the qudos of owning a football club. Yes the biggest profit would be made by getting us up but he will NEVER manage it. Expect him to seel some of the better palyers either before the window closes or in the winter window when it is obvious we wont be going up.
Well agree to disagree on this one grumpy but I really believe given the **** storm he bought into, we couldn't have got any better. He may not be the one to get us to the pl that incidentally I personally hate, but at least he will leave something far more saleable than any of previous outfits. Remember, if we ever go up,this forum will consist of discussions of should we pay 25m for a or 50m for b. I won't be part of that charade when it happens and I doubt you will either
I agree about the prem its definately better to travel than arrive. We would have to live with being a small fish in a big pond for a long time. Big money, not many wins and getting beat by scum and chelscum.! But it would beat being a little fish in a small puddle like we are at the minute.
I'm not so sure. My son in law is a Villa fan. They're about standard we could aspire to and he's totally demoralized supporting them. He's a sort of Closet Leeds fan because of me and is actually more interested in what we're doing than Villa. They've just sold the only two decent players they have because of the pl juggernaut thing
I think we'll beat Burnley, mainly on adrenalin and enthusiasm. Depending who plays of course but, a goal from Ant and Duke to seal the win. Silvestri to put in a match winning performance, our defence will get it together and our midfield (depending who starts) will let the double decker buses through only to hit a brick wall in our defence.
I'm going to hold you to that you old knacker, lol. As the old saying goes (about 30 seconds old at time of writing) If you can't be confident then you're wasting your time being negative.
Chipster you are wrong on the little fish point mate. There4 are clubs that should never have lived in the prem but took it a bit a ta time and survive with no following. WBA, Stoke, Wigan (For years) Bolton (For years) Hull (Twice) Watford, Ipswich, Wolves (For years) Burnley and many more ....... We get 6 TV games in the championship before September, once back in the prem we will thrive due to a full ground as the plastics return, inevitable price rises, a bigger budget and proper players wanting to ply their trade for a big club. Yes we'll we go back to silver players as we won't be in the market for gold players for a few seasons but we'll survive mate. one of us will be wrong but I expect both of us want my theory to be correct but it would also make Cellino a hero for years
We are a big club in terms of history but where it really counts, on the pitch and at the bank we are small fry......
