    <yikes>WTF??<doh>

He's not out of the running but it shows the difference in class between them when Rosberg has a nailed on chance to make big gains on Hamilton and yet manages to still lose ground. He cut across Ricciardo pretty recklessly to pull off that move, if he'd timed it better or waited for another corner the collision wouldn't have happened. He's just not in the same class or calibre of driver as the best of the best, will always be the wing-man

Alright Lewis made contact as well but he'd locked his front right and couldn't correct so slid into Ricciardo. The good fast starts from both Ferraris put him into a really bad track position - in the middle or the road sandwiched between two red cars. Not where you need to be in the corner. Anyway, not making excuses for him, Lewis had a generally (v rare) bad day all round and Rosberg still couldn't capitalise and lost ground

Completely disagree that Hamilton bottles under pressure... last season was high pressure for a long time yet he put in the performances and got the results. Maybe earlier in his career at McLaren you could accuse him of that but not now

What was telling for me was when Rosberg said put the same rubber on as Hamilton and the team were telling him to go another way. He knows Hamilton knows how to get more out of that car and so resorts to trying to use his ideas which won't work as they have different driving styles

Mine was supposed to say thrown. Auto correct as per.

If you'll note Hamilton managed last year to hand initiative to Rosberg too.

Ones a wing man sure. Thats what I said at half way point in year he's just thrown his chance despite being within a blown engine of the lead.

I'd like to see Hamilton under even the merest of pressure here. He isn't. Last year Rosberg managed brefly to push Hamilton in qualification. This year he's not done that consistently

My view is the guy was going to match Hamilton no matter what and was settling for 3rd v 4th not going for win.

    What happens? All hell basically.

Simply not thinking Hamilton knows more no no that's fan boy talk... it was just negative thinking and ones sion with Hamilton.

Awesome start from both ferrari here, related to aborted start, new rules? What?

Belgium will be interesting I feel. Id love ferrari to bring an engine capable of putting Vettel between Rosberg and Hamilton with that start and see what happens.

For a potential 3 times champion there still questions on Hamilton imo.... same as Vettel.

That was me and the lad but the other 3 stayed home. We were going to France but had to cancel that one. Portugal was already paid for.

  18. Unfortunately so. The mrs (nm), three kids and the dog in a caravan is about as far away from fun as you can get <laugh>

Least it's only a couple of days and I've got two pub meals a day to look forward too :)
