So, I reckon our transfer business is done for this summer and in a few weeks time the new season will be upon us. So lets all put our physic abilities to the test and make some bold predictions. Every one make a prediction. It can seem as bold or mad as possible, but has to be at least potentially realistic in some way. But dont play it to safe and predict the grass will be green. My prediction: Joe Allen (and the beard) is about to have the best season of his career.
1. Watford will stay up 2. Sterling will score over 15 league goals 3. Bamford will score over 10 league goals Just some random ones off top of my head. Will post more of them when I see something that interests me
- Liverpool will finish fifth. - Benteke will score around 15 goals; not a disaster but not great either - Firmino would struggle to adapt and been criticised and seen as a flop by most fans (bit like Lucas, Kuyt and Hendo were)
United to finish 5th; still a **** defense, only Rooney and a knackered Falcao up top and a goalkeeper who doesn't want to be there. They'll be spared blushes by their midfield who, apart from Schneiderlin and Herrera, are injury prone (schweinsteiger) or old and slightly better than Allen (Carrick). Even more unrealistic would be Benteke knocking in 15+...
Benteke after scoring his first league goal for us (late September) will have an unusual goal celebration. He will pull a latex face mask off his face (mission impossible style) and reveal he is really one and the same person as David N'Gog.
Oh... And here's Another prediction. No more [senior squad] transfers for us this season. Sterling will be hospitalized from nearly suffocating on laughing gas. Seymour will feed his body to a plant called Audrey 2.
Benteke scores 30 goals for lfc. Don't forget though.... 15 will be in europa so Tobes will say they don't count and he was a flop. #turnabout is fair play
