but there's LOTS OF POSITIVES?? sitting too deep. did we even have a shot on goal in the second half?
At least we've got snodgrass and diame to come back wich should help us become more of a thret. Hopefully palacios will sign which will allow thudd to push further on
we have indeed, however both will take time getting up to speed, I fear it could be Christmas before we see anything like what they are capable of, hopefully they will both come back with no ill effects from their injuries.
To be honest I don't think we'll see Diame in a city shirt again, no way can I see him playing in the championship, its not just in him to do it, its below him.
I suspect we will, and that his best form will be produced just before the January transfer window, his injury will probably stop him from getting a move before that, prospective buyers will be seeing if he is fit before spending their coin, only way he`ll show that is producing the goods.
Yeah I just think (hope) the fact he's injured will put clubs off until janurary and if we are doing well he'll stay
My stream was a bit of a patchy stop/start but from what I saw, I thought we looked roundly competent - encouragement +1. In truth, as someone who had their City hope and scope locked down by the Dolan years as a teenager, I still find it strange to be (casually) playing Bundesliga teams away in meaningless friendly games. Back then, pre-season v Barnsley would be a coup.
The commentator couldn't know anything about City because he couldn't recognise them at all except he knew Michael Dawson and the goalkeeper but he couldn't tell the difference between a defender clearing and McGregor saving. I think Davies and McGregor seemed confident and hopefully both will be first choice. Usually pre-season is no indication of what will happen at all though.
I have to say that the location of that football pitch is probably the most picturesque I've ever seen. There's one in Esquimault (Victoria, BC) which has the ocean and mountains in the background and another at Banff National Park but to be honest, they pale in comparison.
I don't understand you so please let me clarify: the location of the game between Hannover and Hull City was very picturesque. I know of two football pitches in Western Canada that although very picturesque, do not equal the Austrian location. Not sure what you mean about playing the other side but try Beauty's Only Skin Deep and You're Not an Ordinary Girl by The Temptations ... these are two great sides on one record. The Four Tops had a similar gem, was it I Can't 'Help Myself and I'll Turn To Stone? Saw the Tops four times, appropriately, back in the day!
Considering we're playing two sides on our trip to Austria, I would have thought my question was quite obvious.
I'm sorry. I was unfamiliar with the location of today's game and at first, didn't catch your question. It was at the Alois Latini Stadium, Zell am See, Austria. I believe the next game is against Al Ain FC on Wednesday, July 29, KO 5pm (Local time) at the Wörgl Stadium, Wörgl, Tyrol, Austria. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull-City-tour-Austria-games-players-watch/story-27479136-detailoi
