Straight from Prouds favourite football blog... http://www.first4lcfc.co.uk/blog/ex...ional-the-subject-of-premier-league-interest/ Tranquillo Barnetta is the latest rumour...
The blog that said Cambiasso had signed a new deal a few weeks back? John Percy linked Barnetta here a few weeks back The mirror have linked Tottenham midfielder Moussa Dembele with us
It's understandable though. Hamer needs to be playing to develop but Schwarzer doesn't have to worry about that at his age. We need a young keeper in though to replace Smith as third choice.
It Did say we had an instant recall option though - all very sensible for all parties involved really
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...t-Rickie-Lambert-striker-talks-West-Brom.html Why just why...centre midfield and another defender for good measure and we're fineeee
Totally agree, cant believe this. We have this type of striker in Ulloa and I would be so hacked off if we sign another one before a midfielder or two.
Without having seen him play, I'm underwhelmed by Ozakaki (may be wrong spelling) but looking forward to Krammy. Nonetheless, we have them both with Vardy and Leo. I'd rather have signed someone like Austin or Lambert originally but now there seems no point
From what ive heard on the radio, never seen him, Ozazaki is a bit of a headless chicken with little quality, a poor mans vardy, but i guess you dont score the number of goals that he has in his career without class. I can see him being Vardys replacement after 70 minutes if we are doing well and want to play the same way, with Kramaric being the replacement if we want change it up a bit and Nugent being the one to start when form is bad and we need more workrate and creativity.
I think Okazaki will be a good signing, but we might need to bed him in slowly. Kramaric has taken six months to start looking like he could be starting regularly. I think Vardy and Ulloa will start the season, but if either of them play as well as at the end of last season, can see them being snapped up in January, therefore our other striking options will be useful. Kramaric and Okazaki can also play that attacking midfield role that Mahrez and Nugent tend to play. On Hamer, I'm pleased to see him go out on loan, plus it's even funnier that Forest are relying on our current third choice keeper! I'd like to see him keep playing so pleased for him, and hope he starts at Forest (who's their current number one?).
Okazaki has had very fine reviews in Germany's top flight and is something of a national hero in Japan for his impressive goal scoring ratio at international level.. bit harsh to be pre-judging the guy on radio commentaries in friendlies... by way of balance the text commentary yesterday described the ball he played to put Kramatic in as 'delicious' ... doubt that this guy will be a headless chicken given the levels he has played at ... but will reserve judgment until I've seen him in the flesh...
"Overpriced" and "couldn't handle" it at Stuttgart is what the Sky Germany pundit thought. http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/L...ainz-striker/story-27478034-detail/story.html
post Stuttgart ... and just guess who he notched his first goal for Mainz against ... http://blogs.wsj.com/scene/2014/04/...kazaki-breaks-bundesliga-goal-scoring-record/ ... if he can do for us what he did for Mainz there will be few complaints .. as I said some pretty fine reviews... e.g "FSV Mainz 05 remain on course to reach Europe for only second time in their history… with Shinji Okazaki once again single-handedly leading the charge,” the official Bundesliga website said.... ... an that was 12 months ago not years....
