    If hes here for 5-6 years playing well, then more than worth the £8m, though i'd rather 6m rising to 8.

    Southampton, Palace and West Brom all in for him, he'll almost certainly go now, though I suspect we might see the price edge up to £10m(the amount Saints are allegedly willing to go to).

    This will be the saddest one for me, he's the only player I really hoped we'd manage to keep hold of, but it was always going to be difficult, he's obviously our most valuable asset.

    Still, £10m for Chester, £7m for Brady(now sorted with Norwich) and £5m for Ince were all good fees for the players involved and at least we've finally sorted our first new signing.

    Lol the signing or non signing of James bloody Chester certainly won't define our season that for sure <laugh>
    Has fat Bruce brought anyone who can actually score a goal this season lol

    The next person we sign i vote we play in midfield, regardless of wherever they would like to play. I dont even care who it is anymore.
