    Firstly, there isn't enough motivation to mount a proper revolution. Too many people would have to stop and take selfies and then check to see if it's been 'liked' by their sister's boyfriend.

    Secondly, there is no Tory Party. This is false. I could put you in a room with no windows for ten years and when you came out I could show you the current government policies and you would think it was a Tory government.

    All politicians are now in this for pretty green seats and cheap lunch. Not to mention a decent pay for little work. Even if one emerged with a backbone and a conscience, they would be ousted.

    Whether you look at the perspective of poor work by ATOS or Mental Health services in the OP or whether you look at the bigger picture. It doesn't matter. The government are playing a game that gets them re-elected.
    People on benefits with Mental Health problems are statistically less likely to vote. Older people are more likely to vote and they remember a time with far less scroungers. To the government, this equals a net gain in votes from older people.

    A revolution would need enough people who cared about what's going on outside their own front door. I don't think there's enough of those left in this country. We can fight, but our impact will be gauged by how many retweets we get.

    This paragraph sums up British politics perfectly. Look at the abuse the war criminal Blair directed at those supporting Corbyn in his bid for the left to regain the leadership of the party.
