Lovely first half display, showed direct cutting edge stuff, we look sharp except for a couple of defensive errors. My prediction is Ozil will have a corker of a season this year and show his full potential ala Sanchez style.
Agree, although it's a pretty slow pace, when we've attacked it's been razor sharp and very quick. Ozil has looked excellent in preseason (I missed the 1st game), and Giroud and Oxo have looked very good in this game.
Interesting Giroud comes off for Walcott not Akpom, I wonder if that means Walcott will be used more as a striker this season.
I know its only pre-season but VERY good performance. Ramsey, Iwobi, Ozil were excellent but for me Oxlade-Chamberlain was absolutely unreal today. A top match and without the likes of Sanchez, Cech and Welbeck too. Win tomorrow and that'll give us plenty of confidence going in to out match vs. Chavski
Really good result today and some cracking goals to boot. As mentioned it's only a pre season friendly, but there was enough in that performance to be very happy with. Bodes very well for the coming season. It was great to see Ramsey scoring one of those goals where he bursts into the box, if he does that through the season then he could have another high scoring campaign like a couple of seasons ago. He looked very sharp didn't he? I really hope he can stay fit as I think this could be his break out season.
A real shame it was ruled offside. Hoping he makes some cameos in the FA Cup and CoC this season. Looks very promising indeed. That Rene-Adelaide kid (can't really be calling him kid when I'm only a few years older FFS) also looked decent when he came on.
