Any body notice from the smoke on ricciardos car how it goes directly up and almost back on itself. Red Bull (and probably most teams) still manipulating engine fumes to the rear wing.
Williams showing no speed at all this weekend. Q3 currently seems out of reach. Better showing for McLaren, though is clearly circuit specific and just highlights the issues with the capacity/power of the hybrid system as there are so many braking zones and short straights that it can remain well charged up all the time. Also suggest that the raw power from the ICU may not be that bad.
The hamsters have given out, push that sucker 'Nando lol, of course, i'm pretty sure one of the first things the engineers said when they saw the new regs was 'how do we manipulate the exhaust this time?'
Whilst it was a dramatic first lap, I think that's the top 3 settled. Hamilton stuck behind the quick Williams is not going to aid him. He's not going to get a podium for once.
Well, **** me sideways, we have a race. Or do we? Lewis looks stuck and the top 3 are well away. Hmm... Well, either way, it's good news for levelling the championship a bit and gives us something different to watch.
two nice overtakes at t1 there, Hungary throwing up a race and it isn't even spitting. It seems Hamiltons whine about the start procedure three races ago has done him a world of good.
