Sad news one and all... the legend on CM 01/02, Cherno Samba has retired from football!!

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33657802

He used to be number 1 signing every new game played and was destined to be a World class star!

Anyone remember any other random players that turned brilliant on CM but never heard of again since in real world?

I'm sure there was a guy called De Lange (or something like that) who was very similar but can't even find him on the internet so might have been a made up person <laugh>

I used to like playing with Miklos Feher (or M. Foher as the game called him) on ISS Pro Evolution. He was an awesome 19 year old from Hungary. He died. :( The last things he ever did were get booked and pull his socks up.

He didn't even survive into the 01/02 season <yikes>

  5. Celestine Babayaro (unhappy at Chelsea and you could get him for a knockdown £1m. Was brilliant for two years but being older started to decline, could sell him for about £5m after a season)

Teddy Lucic (buy for £300k and was good for two seasons, sold for about £6m!)

Álex Aguinaga (29yrs old but a brilliant AM bargain £500k. Could sell him for about £12m after a couple of seaosns too)

Can't remember which version it was but it was one of the very early ones. there were two players at Cambridge Town that had **** stats but were world class performers. You could buy them for next to nothing and put them in a certain formation (can't remember what it was) and win most weeks!

    David Prutton and Julius Agahowa.

Those two two always turned out fantastic as well

  18. Stags was my usual pick (for obvious reasons) but very rare I got to the PL with them. Usually got a job offer beforehand that I couldn't refuse.

  19. Prutton is a good shout but you always had a fight to get his signature as about twenty clubs always wanted him lol

Never looked Agahowa when I signed him.

  20. Used to sign a Swedish lad called Prica all the time too. Could play up front and RCM, ACM & LCM. Could either sign him on a free (tribunal because of age) in the second summer or pay around £750k to get him immediately. Another one that grew and could be sold for millions later on.

(Most of the players I mention were for Championship standard clubs)
