There is no way we are going to jeopardise the Premier league golden pot increase next season by selling our No 1 striker just before the season starts, besides we have gained some new french recruits to work with Gomis, it's just not going to happen, especially not for £6 Million, and as for Amat another none starter of a story by crap media reporting..............
It's not just one though dragon, it's all over the place now and i want the club to make an official announcement on the clubs web site whether it is a starter or a non starter and put it to bed, i dont want to hear in the media that the club will RESIST any attempts to prize gomis away i want them to end all speculation once and for all so we know where we stand as far as training and getting ready for our opening game. I dont want to see the bullshit we had off gomis when he joined as he wont be focused on the season ahead. i want either gomis or the club ending this speculation now......
Rumours and speculation will never go away it will always be a part of the game particularly in the transfer window. I have no doubt that none of our key player will leave in this transfer window unless it's initiated at their own request, which could then see them move on. There are no guarantees, so statements by the club or the player regarding their futures carry very little no weight if any. The club have already stated it does not intend to sell any of the key players this summer, regarding player's personal statements well in most cases they're are totally unreliable as statements are made on their behalf by agents and we all know what they're capable of. A recent example of this is the Fabian Delph saga. Im sure we can rely on the club to make the right decisions on all transfer matters, we are in safe hands.
Once one newspaper prints a story they all jump on the same bandwagon and feed off each other. We don,t know which newspaper belongs to which group for example the Daily Mail and the Evening Post are part of the same group.
the EP have a reporter attached to the swans, If they make a statement then you can be sure there is something in it...
@TransferCentreL: Swansea City striker Bafétimbi Gomis is close to joining Dubai side Al Ahli for a fee worth in excess of £7m. http://t.co/K6MeUx3NNq
Why are people taken in so easily by these headline grabbing rumours which usually turn out to be pure speculation and fantasy. Poor old Gomis taking flak again, a case of guilty until proved innocent. It may well be that he will leave but until he does and the club make us aware of the circumstances then he and all the squad should be fully supported.
I'll believe it when I see it on the BBC football site. Until then it's just more sensationalism from some ppc webshite
Looks like this won't happen!! AL AHLI OUT OF GOMIS DEAL Dubai-based club Al Ahli are pulling out of a deal for Swansea strikerBafetimbi Gomis, according to Sky sources. Al Ahli believed they would be able to take advantage of certain clauses in the 29-year-old France international’s contract, but it is understood those clauses are not what they thought.
I think we know why he didn't I bet he's gutted , all that lovely dish and sunshine, so close and yet so far .I would imagine the Club are already looking for his replacement .
