Amazing how the trajectory of the Club spiralled downwards after Curbs left. I recall a story Scott Parker told about Curbs insisting the players looked for lost footballs at Sparrows Lane. That attention to detail and prudent financial management was all for nothing when the clown Murray was left to his own devices, and let Dowie and Pardew spunk every penny Curbs had grafted for. Remember when the clown Murray used to brag about 'the Charlton way of doing things' ? . In reality it was the Curbs way of doing things.
