Did anyone see the stuff on twatter last night? regarding Aidy White. Brilliant <laugh> Rotherham Utd put it out for their fans [HASHTAG]#askaidywhite[/HASHTAG] but leeds fans took over and they didn't give him loads of stick, but some of it was ace. "is it true that the new Rotherham kit is made of bubble wrap". "Does Evans eat all the pies". "What did you think when Hockaday told everyone you were in his top 3"

I saw that. Funny as....

Morning all. If there's one thing I've learned in my lifetime is hindsight is a great thing but there is no point in looking back. We might as well have a moan about Risdale as well if that's the plan. We are in best position we've been for many seasons, financially and with a young squad, despite what Auld moany guts with the old bird in the bed will try claiming. There's a new season coming, try looking forward to it. Packing my bags and trusty armchair this evening for the hols
Top O the morning to ya Eire lad,

Old moany guts <laugh>

I have been to York twice a year for 20 years and have had one winner Mike Smith re Mikes carpets asked me to put a bet on for him he said justpbut it each way on the outsider on the tote he won £4000 for a $20 stakeThe next race he had the same bet and relied again on me to find the outsider he won another £5000 over the meeting he won £10k and his wife Carol won only 1k they say money goes to money well its right ! I lost £100and Moe lost the same!
Morning Mike,

Didn't know you were a betting man?

Blimey, the odds must have been huge!!!

Good morning to Matt and cofrom a cool sunny Bardsey
Well our Billy will be gone today how many more will follow/?
where did you get that information Matt you are like a book of knowledge!
Moral of my racing story any nag can win at york

You won't believe, but it was Lucas the Kop Kat, straight up...

Without putting the kiss of death on it (hopefully) we usually come out slightly ahead at York... At least we have over the last three years.. Ditto Beverley in the last year.... But do really well at ripon. Always lose at wetherby and haydock.

Going to ascot in September...... Really looking forward to it.
the reason any nag can win is simple its the prize money which is that much higher and the class that much better

I used to have 4 pens in the county stand leased from an Oil Co Moe and I went every May for my birthday and every August for hers I had one winner in 14 years!
We used to take 12 bottles of bubbly with us and ice box and sandwiches for ourselves and guests .The position of the pens were in line with the finishing post .They pulled the stand down what a pity

Not this again <doh>

As I told you last time, the biggest ever tote winning odds at York was 100/1 when Mudawin won the Ebor in 2006.

To win £4000 from a £20 bet you need odds of 200/1 so it WAS NOT possible <ok>

Just seen that you did it e/w which means the odds would have needed to be 320/1 £3,200 for the win stake £800 for the place stake!!
Don't think there has ever been a horse win at that odds anwhere apart from on the exchanges!!

Yep, the ladies have got their big pants ready to throw at him.

In a box with a free bar, but i'm considering not drinking......

<laugh>

We have Tom coming to meet the Mrs in our box ( if he has recovered from his chest infection). He cancelled two gigs this week!
