the main stand roof lift for today was cancelled due to wind conditions they have to lift a massive strucutre up into place and secure. it was on echo as starting 7:30am today bu was cancelled at 9am

Not sure if this is the right thread or if you even care (as an engineer myself, I find it all interesting), but was nosing on red and white Kop forum, and there are a few photos of the roof support truss being lifted into place.
look at the ends of the truss. there's just two massive holes on the flanges right at the end... 4 bolts for the whole thing/ FFS FSG.. cheap skates FSG out..
Nearly ppoisoned myself with bleach there... made a cup of coffee in my usual mug in the office, mug was by the sink with water in it so i rinsed it out and gave it a wipe with a towel but someone comes up to me after I've drunk the coffee from it going hope you gave that a proper rinse because I left bleach in it by the sink...
