If someone came in with an offer of 15 m, we'd sell. We'd sell for 8m. If we get promoted, we'd sell for even less. He could help us get up, no doubt. What price have we put on him ?
No idea, but he's easily worth a lot more than Brady, so if Brady is 8m, I wouldn't think Chester would be much less than 12-13m.
Maybe to us right now ( present value of future profits and all that), but not to any potential suitor I would suggest.
Not sure what you mean. We're holding out for 8m from Norwich for Brady. Chester is worth more to us right now than Brady, thus logic would suggest we would want more than 8m for him.
Your opinion you mean ? It's a team game, I like Chester in his role as a capable tackler - hate to say it - man-marker. He struggles ( often), getting the ball to one of our players in a threatening position after winning the ball. Brady has a different role. He moves forward more positively, yet sometimes struggles in his defensive responsibilities. Their relative value to the team's plan to get promotion is unknown. Simply because we don't know Bruce's plan. "Present value of future profit" in this case means who can (Brady or Chester) contribute more to gaining promotion. We know what Brady's worth is according to Bruce. We don't know Chester's yet. Lot of variables here. The only sure thing is that you think Chester is worth more than Brady. Bruce ? The Allams ? Potential buyers ? Impact of other ins & outs ? Beats me.
I've been completely distracted by this Jason borne alien-human hybrid in LA working for the cia who got poisoned and died who had 14 cars including an suv that can go under water, $240,000 in cash, 1,200 legally purchased firearms and 4,000 pounds of ammunition. Google it, it's hilarious.
Palacios will play against Hannover 96 in Austria. It was his Visa that had expired, how do they get a Visa based on him not guaranteed a permanent deal? Or does he not need a Visa to play on the continent?
Not yet, we'll announce any signings as soon as they happen, we've got thousands of season ticket we're trying to shift.
Chester is also a defender. We all know you pay a premium for attacking players. £8m is a fair price for Chester, when we were relegated I thought he'd go for about half that.
i think Chester is a better player, but 8 million is about right.. i dont think Brady is worth that, i like him but inconsistent and think its great business if we manage to get that for him.
