The swindler, going by the name of ‘Brenda’ and described as short, in his early 40s and almost supernaturally self-confident is thought to have swindled an elderly Chilean in Manchester. A police spokesman said: “The victim was told he was buying £49m worth of quality goods but on closer inspection it appeared to be a Shaun Wright-Phillips knock-off with no guarantee. “It’s particularly distressing that this was a vulnerable older gent who just two years ago was cheated out of £25m for a worthless Jovetic. “There seems to be a rash of these crimes at the moment – down the road at Old Trafford a Dutch pensioner asked us for advice on buying what appears to be German goods five years past its sell-by date.” The motive for Sunday’s robbery is thought to be malicious as well as financial, with the main suspect previously involved in a Balotelli deal that went badly wrong. The police have warned the public not to approach him as he’s believed to be carrying a Lovren. Other managers have been advised to mark their players with a UV pen and photograph them wearing the club shirt, to prevent them falling into the hands of Aidy Ward. Logan said: “Sunday’s victim is trying to make the best of things but all too often such goods are sold off two years later for a massive loss. Usually to Harry Redknapp.” ***** Did you write that, @luvgonzo? Rorschach, have you tried posting that on the Man U board?
Suppsedly Sinclair will be off sometime soon ish - probably not on loan either. Simply too many players ahead of him and he doesn't see where his opportunities will come from. Shame. Another one of our youth not given a proper chance
Is he out of contract? If not we should do a Real and insert a buy-back clause, just in case he does live up to his potential.
He refused his contract so it's up to him. If your mentality is that way that you don't see yourself as being the best and such then prob that's a problem. For me he reminded me of Nathan Eccleston a lot. I think he is better as Eccleston needed about 5 chances to get one goal and sinclair gets it on target.... but... very similar contractual issues. These guys will find in the end oops the real world is a bit tougher than they imagine. Just look at Eccleston today. Same for Tom Ince btw.... lfc proved right . Or David amoo or tony Silva. We've Ings and origi as young strikers. If sinclair wants to reject a club that gave him a debut at 16 and a go at 18 and was actively developing him then it says it all.
In Liverpool? So I take it he'll be a Blue ****e then? He does seem a little bitter right now, so should fit in nicely
I think it'd prob suit all parties. remember sinclair aint a local lad. he was robbed off bradford so passing him on is no big deal to us. If everton can get something out of him grand... not sure they can though... his loan to wigan didn't go very well at all. we will have to see.
Going back to Henderson, I think the lad certainly has it in the locker - but he's far too inconsistent when on the ball. Dwells on far too long and just looks lost when he has to run with the ball. If he can compose himself and become more consistent on the ball, then he will develop into a very good player. If he can't, then he'll only ever be a squad player/Milner type in a top 4 side - which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it means his ceiling is lower.
So with Benteke signed do you all reckon that's pretty much your lot now? If not what other positions do you think you'll go for, and how confident are you feeling for the new season?
Who've you got at the moment? Moreno? Is Enrique still on your books ? Not seen him for ages it feels like.
5th. We are done according to a sky journalist out on tour. LB and CM are weakest areas of squad for a full season. LB cos moreno is a terrbile defender. CM as lucas cannot run and allen is bag average. I think we'll have more goals in us. I don't think clyne is going to solve anyone of our defensive weaknesses... we should be more consistent and score more over the course of the year and but about 70 points.... but i think we are looking at city as worst of top 4 so 5th is our lot. Win europa is one possibility to try for but most of all a cup win would buy the squad time. in the end its back to LFC are big club you better win something you've the squad to do it, no excuses.
