Could be Gunter Netzer? He's just approaching 71 years old but probably still better than half our present squad. We need a World Cup winner!

    SIX TRIALISTS ON DISPLAY
    24-Jul 05:01, by Ketts
Jason Euell's development squad took on Maidstone on Thursday evening.

A young Charlton XI, featuring six trialists, drew 1-1 with National League South outfit, Maidstone, at the Gallagher Stadium on Thursday evening.
Three of the trialists, Dexter Peter, a centre back formerly with Norwich, 19-year-old left-back, Priestly Griffiths, previously with Middlesbrough and Slough's attacking midfielder, Joe Aribo, started.
The other three, former Southampton winger, Jake Sinclair,
ex-Leicester midfielder, Marcel Barrington, and one junior Brentford striker, Martin Netzer, all featured from the bench.
Alex Akrofi fired the Stones ahead just past the hour mark, with Jake Sinclair levelling for the Addicks six minutes later.
Sinclair was one of a number of players on show who had also featured the previous evening at Dagenham.
Senior players, Andre Bikey and Callum Harriott started. Harriott went to Belgium with the first team squad, but did not feature at Sint-Truiden despite Guy Luzon only having a depleted squad available.
Neither of the duo appear to have any future under Luzon.
