What are your expectations for little old Sunderland? Some seem to think Dick is the second coming, I'm not convinced myself. His managerial record is patchy and I didn't think he had you playing that well last season. The signings have been pretty uninspiring too aside from Lens who is decent player. It's options innit. He's probably got a marginally better chance of making the 2016 Euro squad if he's playing in the Prem, rather than the C'ship for you lot.

He's a good striker, but not that next level, I think Spurs would have signed him if it wasn't for Kane.

If we go and get the reported 3 players needed, of course it does. You can't moan because of a lack of investment, then still moan when he does. Its not fickle, its just stupidity and being awkward.

Do I forgive him for the last few years? Nah I don't think there was any need for such a farce. I can stand the lack of investment to a certain degree, but the off the pitch stuff has been poor. They still have to show they are running it as a football club and respecting the club. The signs are good regarding transfers and credit where its due.

It changes it slightly, but there is a long way to go for most fans.
