My near death experience was in 1973. The Monday after we won the cup I went into work and put my red and white scarf around my mates neck. He's a Mag by the way.
Another pop at us lefties! I once stood behind the goal when Steve Death was in goal for Reading. Does that count - I was only about 5 yards away.............. X
I stuck a knitting needle into the socket beside the fire and near the telly when I was 2 or 3. Is that ok? x I didn't die, which is spooky. x
It was black and white (spit) It was Saturday afternoon ( Doctor Who, I believe) I ended up OVER the settee. Cant remember how we got on tho. Mid 60's? If we were home we won. Away, got beat. x
Was walking dog back from Whitburn, near to the Fishermans Cottages the dog sat down and would not budge, after about 30 seconds a Ford Sierra came hairing along from Whitburn, lost control and ended up on the pavement facing back to where it had came from about 20 yards further on from where I was standing. If it had not been for the dog refusing to budge I reckon we would have been wiped out by the car. When visiting relatives in East Grange the same dog did a runner, it turned up in another garden at the bottom of the street, about 300 yards away - could it only be coincidence that the house was where my grandparents had lived for 30 years or so - however they had passed away 10 years previously! The dog was physic(sic) I tell ye Physic. These are both true tales
My near death expierance was, i was walking home from the pub and was busting for a ****e. I decided the most logical answer was to try and jump over a fence (which has those 3 pronged spikes) anyway i slipped, chin first against the fence, pulled myself off and fell to the ground (about 12 foot drop). Whilst im wiping myself off, i thought i better check my neck and my finger went straight through as there was a big gaping hole in it. Dr told me it was about 1mm away from my trachea......nice.
Wow, that's wierd, I've literally JUST come back from York, from that tower! I once got caught in a riptide in a beach in Jersey that's south-facing, it's the calmest one on the island! Once I was rescued, I had to wait for about four hours in A and E to make sure I wasn't dying of secondary drowning!
I once told the ex wife she wasnt as good at oral sex as her sister? Closest I will ever come to near death Lol thank you, thank you...I'm here all week!
