I really don't see the logic there. Dare say it's wishful thinking on your part, but the last few days prove that he's got them running around printing stuff he's probably laughing about.

More like he's very quickly backtracking to avoid crushing the hopes of Man Utd fans who don't agree with him that a strikeforce of Rooney, Depay, Hernandez, and Wilson is good enough to challenge for the PL and CL

Apparently he's hoping that a CL club will come in for him. Basically he'll only join Liverpool if he has to.

I agree he does make his funny faux pas (Mike being the most recent) but I reckon that's bcos he genuinely doesnt give a 5hit. I mean look at him at the club's end of year party!
But when it comes to the way he's dealing with the British press I think he's deliberately playing with them now. He seems to see them as pretty thick in terms of football knowledge and has genuine disregard for their fascination with the facile stuff.

All I know is that when I watch the statements that issue from the horse's mouth (rather than as reported by the press), the horse obviously thinks it's being clever when in fact it just sounds bewildered and silly.
Perhaps it's a language problem, or perhaps he simply has an infantile sense of humour- who knows? I don't think too many non Utd fans are knocked out by the cleverness.

Yeh and like I said your continuing posts seem to suggest otherwise, as evident once again. It's obvious to anyone he's had the press running around over the last week following one throw away comment. I've yet to see you come up with anything other than as a rival fan finding it difficult to accept that.
