Just out of interest, because I haven't see anything written about it, but of the clubs displaced from the Airco, how many have completely disbanded and not been replaced by new clubs?
I don't know about those teams but the Hull Schools 5-a-sides (Primary (not sure on Secondary)) have moved to Goals for the upcoming school year (previously held at Airco).
For me, even if they've been fortunate to keep going or even expanded, it doesn't excuse the manner in which it was done. There are ways of doing things, and that wasn't it, irrespective of the outcomes.
From the statement they need to provide assurances about the indoor arena. The court case is next month...
Let's hope in that time the club gets together with Bishop Burton to work out a way to build the indoor facility there. Even those that don't give a **** about airco situation must agree that it's far better to have all your academy facilities on one site.
