    I have been at the ground today picking out seats for next season. Got a couple of corkers. I was parked at the front where the TV guys park. There was guy unloading a load of camera equipment etc. I asked if it was for another signing and he said "Couldn't say mate" the just gave a big cheesy.

    Actually we had our pick this year <laugh> I think a number must have dropped the corporate stuff after last season. I won't put the pics up as I don't want any stray pies heading my way. They reckon its picking up now with the signings. ACS has seen them and promised a reacharound if I throw him a tempura prawn or two.

    Ive seen three pictures taken by @scotthunt_ of Mbemba and it looks like his here, checked into the indigo hotel then left with a bunch of guys into a big car, maybe off to the stadium or benton!

    Aye, it's definitely him. It's the same minivan that the club used to take Wijnaldum and Mitrovic to their medicals. He's very close to signing. Get the **** in. This is the best signing we have made in years.

Thankfully, these people are now reminding me of these words after all these wonderful signings that have been made! Sometimes it is nice to be wildly wrong <laugh>

    Are we? Or are we running exactly the same as Mike always wanted? Three signed all with significant sell on value. There is realisation that you cannot survive on a shoestring budget, but one might argue that the model is precisely the same only or budget ceiling is 15m rather than 10m. Cynical but I fear we are getting a tad carried away. The signings may have more repute but they all remain under 25 and unproven. I'm not a huge Austin fan, but at 26 with PL experience he represents a true change of direction. So far we've really just played catch up using the same guidelines.

    I agree no one else arrives, you'd think "Ah same old same old - just enough". However McClaren seems convinced and isn't even bothering to hedge his bets like Pardew had to. I think we are likely to see another two or three. Either McClaren is a gullible moron and green as grass, or we have changed tack.
