Rangers were pretty damn good in the first half hour. Total change from the turgid fair served up last season. Fast, free flowing football. Great ball retention and passing. Wee Halliday in the middle of the park impressed as did Tarvernier at right back and Barrie MacKay. Good to see Temps also getting a start.
Wilson looked dodgy all night to be honest. He was static at their goal which came completely against the run of play.
All in all though, we seem to be moving in the right direction. Need to convert the chances we make although Waghorn was only thwarted by an excellent save from Matt Gilks.
Hibs next and I fear that game has came to soon for us. It'll be a tough one but if we can play like we did in the first half hour of last night it should be a cracking game of football.
Would love to see Halliday team up with young Andy Murdoch in the middle of the park.
