What players does everyone wish we'd have kept and/or were shocked to see leave? or weren't bothered to see leave but frustated to see them play great for their next club.

I was shocked and extemely gutted when Ferdinand left, he could have easily stayed for a few more seasons.

Milner is a player who frustated me at times when he played for us but he's come on leaps and bounds since moving and i'd have him back in a shot!

Milner's very overrated. He's good, but only good.

If Zog wasn't such an upstart I'd have him back. But then if he wasn't such an upstart he'd still be here.

And obviously I'd love Bassong back.

I posted a thread not too dissimilar to this yesterday:

Emre: scored some vital goals for us in particular vs the unwashed and a late screamer vs reading.

Solano: just awesome, the fact that he plays the trumpet in his band called The Geordie Latinos sums up how great the guy is!

Scotty Parker: not the greatest player but great leader and always knicked us a goal here and there.

Dyer: not because we let him go, but the fact he had the injuries he did that stopped him from becoming one of the best.

Given: couldn't believe he went to city when the likes of arsenal were interested...
    Bassong: for some reason...

In hindsight im glad he left. If he didn't i dont think we would've ever got Simmo in, and i beleive he is as good if not better, and alot younger so much better potential.
