I will give them a chance, I want to believe Sloth is much better than given credit for, when we play our best back 4 they are pretty decent. Although I am not expecting top 6 the difference between top and bottom half look like resting on the shoulders of how good Wood is going to be. Team as it stands hasn't got 55 goals in it, that is a worry.
I am sure he will snap out of his bout of positivity having you whispering sweet nothings in his ear. Is that simple enough
I don't know if we are better than last season or not, signings are not as great as I had hoped but maybe Rosler will get what we already have playing better and maybe the signings will surprise us. Believe it or not I am not negative for the sake of it, I seem to remember you being worse than me towards the end of the season Eire We have had season upon season of poor results, poor owners, off field crap and best players being sold so I don't see what there was to be positive about, I would say my attitude was justified. So far this season we seem to have done things okay with back room appointments, I am not expecting much this season but until we see our starting 11 and how they perform I am remaining on the fence.
Here we go lads. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/07/21/leeds-striker-steve-morison-targeted-by-old-club-millwall/ He's heading heading south for talks.
The operative words there being towards the end of the season. I tend to start off positive and it dwindles as the results get worse. But there has been more positive goings on this summer so far than weve seen in a long while. Saw somewhere recently that our best finish in last five seasons was tenth, so Ill settle for an improvement on that. Are you suggesting we may have someone in our midst who is negative for the sake of it. I cant believe that Ristac
You can have the useless fecker, never scores, See the daily mail has us down as having a riot over in germny, seems the journo was born in the 80s not lived thru them,pc twat.
Evening (or night) Josh. Apologies fella, but that is the most illogical and contradictory post in defence of Cellino I've read. Firstly we've had three **** managers who had no idea what they were doing, all appointed by the owner (4 if you count McDermott twice), always brushed over. You then say the only thing that remained consistent was the formation (suggesting this was being dictated to the coaches from above). You then have Rosler going on about Ajose being the fittest most hard working in training then not making the pre-season tour and is up for sale. Widely reported and accepted that Cellino blocked the move for Drury despite Rosler wanting the loan move (still no wingers). No disrespect but what is it makes you think Cellino is leaving all to his coaching team and is not trying to play championship manager? He does say he will have failed if he doesn't get us promoted, note no mention of his management team.
Josh. That's true, none of the coaches played "his players" week in / week out. Of course the one consistent thing there is that none of the coaches are employed by the club anymore
I take offence to that I'm not brushing over this, I solely blame Cellino for **** appointments, it cannot be defended and I have been very open of how I think about this previously. Yes the only thing that remained consistent was the formation. I just wouldn't understand if Cellino did have such an impact, surely he would impact who is playing rather than the formation we play. Makes no sense whatsoever. I believe its partly because we have had no wingers and partly because we have had ****ty managers that haven't been able to solve the problem. This isn't a point I'd brought up so not sure on the relevance but I'd love for Ajose to work out. Remembering he is a striker not a winger. A marathon runner could be the fittest and most hard working person in the world, doesnt mean he can kick a football. It was a signing not a loan move, doesn't matter I guess. But again a strange decision, I'm not in defense of Cellino whatsoever, I hate the guy, he's bad for the club. However there could be a number of reasons for this that we just don't know. Technically he's a right wing back so again not an out and out winger and Rosler has been going on about how we are only making one more signing and it'll be a left winger. Maybe we don't have the funds currently to make two more signings and we need to prioritise, maybe we are just bloated in that area (Byram, Berardi, Wootton, Coyle). You wouldn't imagine his wages would be much but you can't speculate as if it is fact like this. I've already said this a number of times, why do people keep ignoring it. The first team players changed during each manager, it was clear (to me anyway). Players like Adryan and Sloth (who were openly loved by Cellino) weren't getting picked week in week out, as soon as Redfearn came in he decided to play all the youngsters, very few were Cellino signings etc. Each manager played the players they think could do the job, he clearly wasn't dictating this. As I have said a number of times, the only thing there would be evidence for dictating is the formation but then why would you (as a crazy all controlling chairman) only dictate a formation when you can dictate the players that play as well.
