I remember bringing Syd Hutch here in 2011 and the rest is history, I have met some sound lads from all of this and I will name names, RAW, Smug, QWOP, Cest (briefly), Funky, that ****ing idiot that keeps changing names that's a mod (sorry mate), Tees from birth and lots more in a alcohol hazed way.. Loads of you lads I admire like Sandy,Vince, Comm, Billy (you know), 83, Ultimate, Nads and others but lots I dislike to, but that's what makes this place isn't it..? Tell you what lads, you wouldn't get as many fannies in one place as you do with us bunch on here.. I love it on here mate, I treat it as a cyber pub where you can have a good laugh & a bit craic with some good people. **** me blue, I've had a row with pretty much everyone one here but I can say my piece & it's over & done with as far as I'm concerned. No grudges ever held by me. I can call anyone a ****er but the next day it's forgotten about, life's too short for grudges. Have your row & move on, that's my way of thinking. I know not everyone is like me but I can't think of a single poster who I could say I truly dislike.
My stint in SAFC lockdown is probably about done, I remember back in the early days having to prove I was not a 'mag wum' and arguing with probably everybody at one point. The ones with Smug were probably my favourite, he's a hard poster to get the better of on here so it worked out better to join the 'If you can't beat em, join em' gang. Comm I've always got on with he's the poster on here who reminds me most of the circle of friends I keep in the 'not not 606' world. Absolutely bonkers and somewhere under the booze fuelled bravado is a genuinely nice bloke. I have enjoyed chatting about football, but this board in particular has an 'off topic' flavour that no other team can match on this site and that's the reason I haven't hung myself in my cell. (That's an anology I'm not actually in prison). Every single poster on here has my respect, whether they think I'm a stupid Manc div or not, the board is a credit to you lot, you should be proud of it.
As a result of this forum, I did something I thought I'd never do..... Cheer Sunderland on in a game (well two actually). Make of that what you will . No seriously, met several people off of here and even made a very, very good friend. I love this forum and as of the past few months, it has been a very good distraction from the whole move down South and kept me occupied in times of boredom/feeling a bit homesick.
What do you mean your stint is just about done. Where the **** do you think you are going. Your grounded. As for this board being a credit. You my manc pal have played a massive part in its development. As for the board in general. Well in 4.5 years its seen many changes. Many good folk have been and gone. Mind there has also been some reet ****ers. The board has its ups and downs and some massive implosions which are funny as **** at times. I wouldnt say its better now, as its not. Mainly down to the ****ing pathetic censorship. But its still a strong board and has a large hardcore following with new people joining. Its the best SAFC forum around by miles. Im a member of 3 others and dont give them the time of day. Long may this board continue
I fall in and out of love with the board from time to time, but it's the only one I consistently come back to. Lot of blokes on here I'd like to meet up with, but obviously living down South that's harder than it would otherwise be. It's weird, but I have "known" some on here for something like ten years online now, going back to the old BBC 606 site, but never met. Amazing where the time goes...

Think the move was defo better bbc was too moderated. Only thing I think is wrong with this site is too many people take things to heart to much, let it go. It's only words by someone you share a love of a club with. Not like your married.

I came from 606. I don't post too often but read the board regularly. Met a few top lads from this site so I would say its all good. I don't like some of the religion and politics posts but I just avoid them and stick to football.
