Queen Nazi salute film: Documentary will show Prince Philip's sister calling Hitler 'charming and modest' There is no suggestion that Prince Philip – who fought against the Nazis in the Second World War – or any other members of the current Royal Family have Nazi sympathies. The photos have been seen before, but the documentary will serve as a further reminder of British royals’ past links to Nazis and Nazi sympathisers. Three of Philip’s four sisters, Margarita, Cecile and Sophie, were married to German aristocrats who filled senior positions in the Nazi party. None of Prince Philip's sisters were invited to his wedding to his wedding to the Queen in 1947. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/p...d-hitler-as-charming-and-modest-10401274.html
Having travelled extensively around Greece and It's Islands I can catagorically state that Greeks ****ing hate Germans. Especially the nazi variety.
I visited a cave on Crete where the villagers had built a church to commemorate the women and children who died hiding in from the invading German army. The ****s had used flame throwers to "clean it out"
ALL of us when we were young followed adults doing what they not knowing the implication of what we are doing. The present Queen only seven then copied others. "Nazi salute" 1933 was not banned and I cannot see why some people like to use it against her. (First world war 1914-1918) 1933 possibly peace time. Maybe Nazi salute then was to mock Adolf Hitler. The queen should be left alone.
