I'm not by any means a Cellino fan, in fact I was the first to say keep him the **** away from LUFC but I will not wildly state things which are not proven. Him picking the players and formation not only is it not proven I don't even think it would be correct. It wouldn't make any sense if nothing else, each manager has played different players, Cellino's openly favourite player signings (Adryan being one of them) weren't played week in week out. How can you continue to ignore this point in my posts? Yes, if/when we don't get the results he will throw his same old tantrum and sack everybody in sight, of that I have no doubt.

You never know what to expect from new signings as we know better than anyone. We've seen some so-called great players who turned out to be garbage for us but great when they left us. Adryan is a classic case in point, every one of the players at TA, including the kids were gobsmacked with the level of skill from the lad, but he couldn't do it on the pitch. Maybe given more of a chance and a longer run, maybe his confidence levels would have grown. Cellino knew how good he was and bet he's gutted to lose him. Bet he has a great year in France

Morning all The same sort of person that picked three **** managers and the same sort of person who would allow decisions to be made based on the fear of purple and the #17 Might do us some good if we are that far short, at least we still have time to bring in a new face or two if we get thumped and the realisation hits that we need major improvement. I have complained in the past about poor opposition in pre-season, this is just the sort of game we need, quality opposition expected to beat us but at least it won't leave us with false illusions because we thrash a pub team 16-0

Last 4 years Championship games Sharp P 94 G 21 strike rate 22% .... Le Fondre P142 G 50 strike rate 35% Last season Championship goals Sharp .. 5 Le Fondre ..11 Sharp was prolific for Doncaster and Scunthorpe and a bit for Sheffield United. He has gone off the boil and I just really looked at recent performance over last part of last season with a near 50% strike rate over 17 games. But .. If I have got Chippy to agree with Mike my day is done.
