I've voted for Marting Skrtel for two reasons... 1) You put "Marting" 2) It'll annoy the hell out of Jimmy if he were VC
MArtin Skrtel and James Milner should not be in the running - Skrtel is no leader, he can't organise a defence let alone lead a team. Irresponsible defender. And Milner is a quiet lad who shown no leadership whatsoever throughout his career. There's a reason why there are parody accounts of him called Boring Milner. Sakho should be captain or vice. Either way, I don't think vice captain is all that important tbh. Can't say I'm able to name vice captains of other clubs.
I actually agree but wouldn't pick Sakho. Needs to be somebody fluent in the language that is going to play week-in-week-out (yes, he should but will he?) From that list, Toure is probably the best material for captain but he is poor on the pitch and shouldn't be playing. I wouldn't name a VC, I'd pick a captain from my starting eleven if and when Hendo was missing.
I think the language could be an issue but he's improving in that respect by all accounts. I hope Rodgers manages him a lot better. A lot of emphasis is on managing Sturridge but Sakho needs the same - I think neither player should be playing in cup games. Let them focus purely on league games.
Would pain me to see Skrtel get it because he's pretty hopeless 50% of the time... but it'll be him or Milner. Out of all that I'd give it to Milner or Sakho.
