I had to read four pages to find this suggestion. I don't like posting a la tickles. There'd be no chance of nepotism with Nigel in charge. He wouldn't sign his son would he? We should go on a tour of the Philippines, and stay at a hotel in Angeles City, to avoid potential scandals.
OK I thought this thread was about our **** manager leaving? yet you kiddies can't resist more mud slinging at our owners. grow up and answer the question.
The manager leaving would have been cause by the owner's lack of ambitiom, so it's not exactly off topic.
The poor lambs are so hard done to. All they want to do is ruin our football club and people keep saying nasty things about them.
This thread isn't about the manager anymore - it is getting derailed by the anti-AA brigade... YOU PLT are a fully paid up member, please refrain from derailing it.
Mixed feeling about SB, to be fair SB himself stated that the Allams back him 100% in the transfer market to the tune of 30/40 million last season and all we got to show for it is relegation back to the championship, his stubborn refusal to change tactics till it was too late, plus his lack of a plan B, playing player's out of position didn't help, and to be fair injuries was a factor too. The time for SB to have sorted out his future and that of the club's was straight after we got relegated, in my view he has to take some of the responsibility for this mess the club now finds itself in now, he's been in football long enough to know the score(sorry for that) he should have had the balls to have forced this showdown meeting with the allams 7/8 weeks ago. not on the eve of a new season, I blame him as much as I blame the Allams.
I'm guessing the type's already written. If he goes, it's down to a lack of ambition from the club. If he stays due to a decent transfer budget,, they're milking the club by mortgaging us up. I hope he stays and we have a sustainable budget.
Agreed. Anything other than a sustainable budget would be a long term disaster for Hull City and a repeat for past extravagances. We have to live within our means, and those means are defined by City being a middle income Championship club, not a recently relegated Premier League club (the parachute payments are probably largely spent on existing commitments, that is what the payments are for). Whether that sustainable approach precipitates Bruce's departure is moot. If Bruce insists on an unsustainable approach for him to stay, then for the long term good of the club he should go.
Agreed, but we need to be honest about this. If we are cutting back and accepting whatever that leads to on the pitch then be honest with the fans. Don't lie to us about ambition and use it to justify price rises.
Without wanting to sidetrack this thread about the manager onto the usual hobby horse, did he 'lie' as such? I thought he left it as 'reflecting their ambition', which is open to interpretation.
Balsamic is my usual choice but I'm not afraid to try others such as, an Italian, Sweet Chiil or a reduced fat Blue Cheese. Living the dream.
