    No surprise to me. United are a huge commercial brand with a trully global fan base. You could go to Outer *****lia say the words Manchester United and they would know what you were taking about. No other sports team comes close to this except maybe the NY Yankees who may not be as valuable as the Cowboys but in my opinion they are more well known.

    I'm surpised Barcelona aren't higher because they are almost as big a commercial brand as United and the Yankees

    Here in the states I'd say that the two most supported European clubs are Manchester United and Barcelona. Closely followed by Real Madrid.

    United are known as the biggest club in the world only by themselves.People who live in the real world know that Liverpool are the biggest in England let alone the World.
