The comedian guy who plays Lee Nelson. Simon something I think his real name is. About time stuff like this started happening. Blatter needs to know that even if the feds don't have him yet, the public know he is a crooked **** and will not stand for him as FIFA's President any longer,
eh? No, Lee Nelson isn't his real name, thats a character. Like Sacha Baron Cohen plays Borat, or Leigh Francis plays Keith Lemon.
Lee Nelson is his characters name, he also has a character called Jason Bent. His real name is Simon Brodkin
I edited, his real name is Simon Brodkin. However, his stage name is Lee Nelson therefore he is the comedian known as Lee Nelson. He doesn't play Lee Nelson
What you on about? Of course he plays Lee Nelson. His real name is Simon Brodkin, and he has a TV show where he plays a character called Lee Nelson Its like saying Sylvester Stallone is the actor known as Rocky Balboa.
So does Harry Webb play Cliff Richard then? Priscilla White play Cilla Black? Its a bloody stage name FFS
Its not his stage name you nozzle. He has loads of other characters. Its not just a change of name, its a change of persona. Harry Webb and Cliff Richard are the same person Lee Nelson is a character.....he acts like Lee Nelson..............*No spastic emote big enough for this*
I just did a wiki - someone's added this already - On the 20th July 2015, he was removed from the FIFA Headquarters in Zurich after throwing a wad of notes (of which appeared to be money) towards Sepp Blatter, as he was about to start his news conference on the future of FIFA. This led to Blatter delaying his conference for around 5 minutes, then when the conference commenced, Blatter apologised for Brodkin's actions. .... a wad of notes (of which appeared to be money) ...
From his own Wiki Page: "Simon Brodkin previously a medical doctor, who performs on the stand-up circuit and in comedy television series. He is best known for playing a character called Lee Nelson, but also performs as other comedy characters. Performing solo stand-up since 2004 (or earlier), he has also written for and appeared on the television shows Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder in 2009, Lee Nelson's Well Good Show in 2010 and Lee Nelson's Well Funny People in 2013."
I've since looked him up and I'm with G on the name thing. What he said makes perfect sense - he's known as Lee Nelson, he doesn't 'play' Lee Nelson, that suggests he's acting as a comedian rather than actually being a comedian. I may have to go to youtube now to see what's what
Well if you're a crap comedian but a good actor you can just act the part of a better comedian #problemsolved
