1-1 now. We looked a lot better in the first half. Kaca looked very bright down the left wing. He's been ineffective down the right so far this half. Lonergan wasn't happy with the ref for the Villa goal. I think Hutchinson was down with a head injury and the ref wouldn't stop play.

Kaca drifts inside, picks the ball up in a central area and pings it into the top corner. 2-1 Fulham, great goal.

Finished 3-1. Third goal came from some great hounding of the defender from Taggart, won the ball played it to Tunnicliffe who squared it to Ross to roll it in. In all a very good game. Dominated most of the game. A good run out.

Didn't see the match or know much about it but just glad to see guys like Cole and Taggart get some game time. Suppose the win is a nice bonus too

So, Larnell Cole lives. Definitely good to see some that had been kind of written off putting in good performances and especially Kaca.

Fulham, first-half team: Lonergan, Grimmer, Bodurov (c), Burn, Voser, Eisfeld, Donnelly (sub Tunnicliffe 34), Hyndman, Kačaniklić, Woodrow, Smith.

Fulham, second-half team: Lonergan (sub Bettinelli 60), Voser (sub Grimmer 73), Hutchinson, Burgess, Kavanagh, Kačaniklić (sub Eisfeld 73), Tunnicliffe, Pringle, Cole, McCormack, Taggart.

Could. Cole, Taggert and Voser be like new signings this year?????

Cole was very highly rated coming through Man Utd academy and just needs to stay fit, I remember thinking when we bought him and Tunnicliffe that they would be good signings if we did go down to the championship.

Taggert came over as young highly rated player, he had just finished as top scorer in the A league and looked ok playing against some good teams in the World Cup, he looked very sharp last pre season when I saw him against Crawley, he then got injured and was out for most of the season, he came back and got a few games for the u21 seemily to score quite a few goals.

Voser is a strange one, he has been disowned by many Fulham fans for one, let's be honest horrendous, game at Reading last season. Yet he came as a regular from a very decent Basle team, he has won championships played regularly in the champions league and played in both games when Basle beat Chelsea home and away a couple of season back! He came over straight into Magaths mad house, looked ok preseason had a couple of average performances followed by the one absolute shocker!

Thinking about it we can throw Eisfield into this equation as well where there is undoubted quality, for arguments sake let's say these four players all fell off the rails due to injury if Magaths methods, if we can even get two of them to come good it's like two new signings

Don't think we can play the if factor, it will be to late when the season starts
we still need a couple of quality defenders.

Different sides each half again - and playing 4-4-2.

Firat Half Team: Bettinelli; Richards, Hutchinson, Bodurov, Kavanagh; Cairney, Christensen, O'Hara, Kacaniklic; McCormack, Smith

Second Half Team: Lonergan; Grimmer,Burgess, Donnelly, Voser; Hyndman, Cole, Tunnicliffe, Pringle; Taggart, Woodrow

    Unused sub: Eisfeld

Despite being advertised, couldn’t get Gentleman Jim so can only go with social media chit chat. Consensus seems to be first half team okay but second half one pretty disjointed; Tunnicliffe and Woodrow in particular not at the races.

Happy to see Larnell Cole get some game time and that we seem to have played a flatter 442. However Cauley's miss at the end was pretty cringeworthy and we really need to add a left back.

I'd be quite happy if we go 442 next season!

Half time: Hertha Berlin 2 Fulham 1

Here's our goal scored by Adam Taggart after a bit of beach ball heading by Tunnicliffe and Donelly - but it was from a corner!!

Interesting to see a Mitroglu out in Austria, I wonder if there is any chance of him playing this season as all the rumours have gone quiet. There is a poster on FOF who reckons he has met him a few times through a loose family connection and reckons he comes across really well has always said he would play for us I the championship but it has been the club trying to off load him due to wages??
