    Deffo.
Uk Shameless is more of a comedy, it was very funny in places, especially Franks antics.
US Shameless has hilariously funny parts, but is far more dramatic, the quality of acting is phenomenal and they have managed to do what the UK version couldn't, which is KEEP THEIR CAST.
Every season in the UK version there was a casualty in the cast list, till it was wittled down so much by Season 5 that only Frank and Karen were left from the original cast I think. Fiona, Steve, Lip, Ian, Kev, Veronica, Debbie, all gone by the end of season 5. Was stupid. And the focus of the show switched to the McGuires instead of the Gallaghers, so it almost felt like a different show.

And Macy's Frank is so much more of a **** than David Threlfall's Frank. Threlfall was hilarious, and made you laugh, where as Macy can pull that off at time too, but sometimes you think "My god, you are a downright low life ****, Frank!"

It is alittle difficult to differentiate the bits that are main story (the murder investigation), the police corruption and what's character sub-plot.

The shootout at the end was pretty ****ing brilliant though.

    Agreed.
The main murder plot with Casper and Vince Vaughn's missing money isn't interesting me half as much as the character subplots to be honest.

Farrell's issues with "his" kid and ex-wife when she was raped
McAdam's sexual promiscuity and daddy issues
    Kitsch's closeted homosexuality and PTSD.

    Loving those aspects.
Also, am I the only one having trouble taking Vince Vaughn seriously as an organised crime boss? <laugh>
Guy has done too many comedies man.

Band of Brothers is very good indeed. If it's being aired I'll definitely watch it again <ok>

Still not seen any of true detective 2 - kind of tempted to give it a miss tbh.

    Great film!
Its odd because I never liked Patricia Arquette much, but in that movie she is smoking hot.

Same with Sarah Jessica Horseface Parker. Not all that, but in Hocus Pocus! :emoticon-0141-whew:

You need to watch it. The title makes it sound like a chick flick! It couldn't be more opposite if it tried <laugh>
