Parker used to hold the ball while doing his side, back, side, forward routine but he couldn't be described as a good dribbler.

  3. Jonas skips past mutliple players? Give me a break mate. He has the ability to do so, and does some at times, but most of the time he gets the ball taken from him.

Tiote does skin players. He doesn't do it in the same way Ben Arfa and Jonas do i.e running at players and trying to attack, but he gets around players very well, skins them and keeps a hold of the ball.

Yes, skipping past players is exactly what Jonas does. Perhaps you didnt notice that when you were screaming expletives at him for failing to wave at you.

Tiote does a lot of things very well, but he doesnt dribble much, or remarkably well.

  10. Jonas does it sometimes, but most of the time he tries and fails, which makes him frustrating, but what we all like him for is the few times he does succeed and makes a moment of magic, but then 9 times out of 10 delivers a crappy ball.

Tiote does dribble well and keeps it much better than Jonas does. Yes i dare say Jonas takes more players on and takes more risks, but never the less Tiote does skin players, gets passed a few and then passes the ball very well.

Jonas is frustrating because of his crossing, not his dribbling. No wonder you hate him if you thought he couldnt even dribble.

I dont see how this is relevant to a 'who is the best dribbler' argument.

Jonas can dribble well. He cant play the final ball.
Tiote can dribble for a DM. He plays the simple ball.

    1. Jonas (nearly always either manages to pass/cross (poorly) the ball or get a free-kick)
    2. Enrique (sometimes runs into trouble by cutting inside, but still keeps it)
    3. Ben Arfa (daring runs, but loses it a lot)
    4. Ferguson (looks a bit like Messi in the way he uses his centre of gravity)
    5. Shola.

  15. If i thought he couldn't dribble i wouldn't have put him in the top 5 dribblers mate.

He can dribble, and what i like about him is the moments of magic he produces and also his work rate in attack and defense, but i get frustrated when he tries to skin to many and gets tackled, however i reckon he's been told to pass the ball more recently, because under pardew he seems to be playing the ball more often rather than trying to skin players.

  16. Tiote doesn't just play a simple ball, he can long pass and short pass very well.

  19. Yes.... but i wasn't making that comment on the subject of his dribbling, i was responding to a comment saying he plays simple balls.

Tiote rarely dribbles! Can't even believe this is being discussed

Jonas is an amzing dribbler, considering he isn't quick, yet technically his dribbling is outstanding. As i've not seen much of Ben Arfa, i'd say Jonas is the best by far.

Steven Taylor dribbles more than Tiote, and rarely gives it away when doing so...
