Think you should calmly ask her why she deleted your post...don't stew in ignorance. Try to deal with things calmly, because I wouldn't rush to give up on everything if you enjoy it without finding out if there is a way forward. Otherwise you could be angry about this for years.
To be honest, this isn't the only beef I have with the club. Their communication is terrible and no-one bothers to let me know anything: fixtures, venue changes, about players, transfers, etc, the amount of times I've found out things from the social media of other clubs is just ridiculous. I've never received any kind of recognition but I don't do it for the recognition, but it would be nice to get a thank you like at the end of season awards, they thank pretty much everyone else (on the admin side). So this could be the straw that broke the camel's back. And don't worry, I won't be angry about it for years if I do resign. It'll just be a case of "Fine, I'm done with this. I can't be bothered anymore, and I'm going to take the advice of Elsa and let it go". If they want to create a situation where someone who's passionate about women's football and Portsmouth, and has always done their best for the club over several seasons, putting in their time and money and travelling 2 hours to games to stop caring, then that's their problem, NOT mine.
Its just not as good is it, not even nearly. I enjoyed the epic gun fight at the end of the last episode, and I quite like Ray and McAdams character, but I'm basically just hoping that the plot starts to unfold and they pull it around somehow. Vince Vaughn's Frank isn't convincing.
On another entertainment-related-question note... has anyone here been watching 'Humans' on C4? Was a slow-burner to start with but now I understand the hype it was given by critics.
You say that as a joke, but seriously, I would consider that. Not necessarily Saints, but joining another side. Particularly one that doesn't already have a Facebook page. Though on a related note, Farnborough FC messaged me on Twitter asking me to get in touch as they seem to be creating a women's team at youth level (a girls team if you will) however I said I would be interested in doing the social media/marketing for a senior squad...
I wouldn't be going anywhere near Farnborough Football Club, if I were you. I say that after spending the best part of a month working at the Non-League Paper - with various rumblings, as I imagine you may be aware.
Farnborough are a complete basket-case, but I grew up there (don't live there anymore). Plus, chances are a women's team would not be that closely linked, just being allowed to use the name, badge, colours and maybe Cherrywood Road. What did you hear during your time at the Non-League Paper out of interest?
I'd love to share - and it must be annoying for me to mention it but not be able to elaborate - but I really can't. A fair bit is out there in the public domain, so I imagine you'll have a rough idea. I'll let you deduce the rest. Down the line, I'll make sure to come back and say. But it'd be unwise for me to be opening my mouth at current.
I think they've been communicating their message to you quite well PL. They don't want you. I'd close down the facebook site and tell them to create their own or pay up. If they don't, leave it down and resign. You've been wasting your time with them.
Wow the departure gate at Minneapolis airport is full of hundreds of iPads for people to use. To add to that there is a bar with big screen TVs showing sport. Fantastic!
When I get the Friday evening flight back, there is also usually the same attractive bar lady who kindly shows you how to use those iPads to order food and drinks. I always forget )) and have to be shown!! Three times its been the same lady.
