Probably a bit below you, but do you have any recommendations when it comes to 125cc bikes? I've got my gloves helmet jacket etc, and next week when I get back from the IoW I will be buying a bike asap. I've got my eyes on a used Honda CBF or a Yamaha YBR. I plan on having a sit I them though as I hear the CBF is better for short arses like myself.
I think Murray is paying for his doubles yesterday. He gets to deuce without being able to break. His usual game is gone....those cm inside the line balls are now cm outside. Simon playing well.
That was a big hold for Murray. This set is all important. He looks dead on his legs out there. I can't see him coming from two sets down.
Another massive hold from Murray. Gives himself a chance to win this set. Murray is starting to look stronger mentally again. Getting back into the rhythm. Come on Murray!!
In my opinion you're selecting from the best two manufacturers for smaller bikes. Italian small bikes are gorgeous but expensive. Suzuki's are good but I always get concerned about their bird dropping frame welding. Stick with Honda or Yamaha build quality for your first bike and you won't go far wrong. Choose well and you'll barely lose money on a 125cc when you upgrade to something that can easily outpace the traffic.
Murray 2 sets to 1 up....found a spare fuel tank. Simon is a very good player and seems able to take Andy on in rallies, but seems to have had a drop in form coinciding with Murray finding his again.
Hey Fat, Onionman Jr is smaller than FLT Jr and would really appreciate the hoody and bodywarmer (I can't bring myself to call it a gilet). If we met in the Farmhouse again we could do the deed. I'll even buy the drinks and bring along some of our mayonnaise. Vin
Terrific performance from Murray...helped by Simon's injury, but Andy would have won anyway I'm sure. Meant so much for Murray....needing hugs from his coach as he sat crying after such a huge effort. Having to delay interview while he composes himself. On to semi in September against Australia...where for once we are favourites.
It's yours. Will bring it to a game and check it fits him. I did think of you but thought it may be too small, but let's try it.
Wrong thread, I know, but wondered if you're likely to be at the Old Farmhouse for the Vitesse game next week? I'm actually moving from my handy flat in St Denys the day before (bad planning I know) but I'll drive and park around there before the game. I'll be up for a meet if you're likely to make it in time. Goes for anyone else too (of course) if anyone's up for it.
Don't forget to buy your tickets tomorrow. Now it's season ticket holders and members on day one, there's more competition for seats. Vin
So annoyed with Portsmouth Ladies. As you know, I do their Facebook and have officially done it since January 2013 although I've not received any recognition in that time, but regardless. Recently the club have a new media officer, who has been given admin rights to the page (they didn't ask or let me know, but I've learnt to expect that kind of behaviour from the club). Anyway, since this media officer has become admin, she's completely taken things over and I've been completely pushed out of the way, although I disagree quite a few of her things she is doing. Like today for example, I posted something today about it being exactly 4 weeks to the start of the season. She just came in, without a word of warning, without saying anything to me (before and after) and just deleted my post, but like I said she didn't say anything. So I posted it again, and she did the exact same thing. Not saying anything, not asking if she could delete it, just doing so. How completely rude can you get! I feel like I've been on the receiving end of a coup d'ete With all due respect, I created the damn page, I've run the damn thing since 2012 and seen it go from 1 like (me) to 1300 likes, I've run the page professionally and spent a lot of time (and mobile data) on it so I think I should get a little more respect and courtesy and not be treated like a ****ing kid, ffs. We're meant to be meeting on Tuesday to discuss social media and all that jazz but if the 'meeting' is her telling me what to do and me not being given any ounce of trust or independence, then I will resign.
