During a phase I went through of me reading every year's Booker prize winner I read "Remains of the Day". Excellent book and worthy winner. The movie was ****e.
Interesting story in today's Daily Telegraph. The Queen told a friend that when she used to give Phil a blow job she imagined he was Heinrich Himmler....
As an expert on absolutely everything, I can confirm the royal family to be complete and utter ****s. End of debate. How are you doing today, G?
That is poor form, G. Hopefully you'll get a rest during the week. I'm okay, ta. Fell asleep in the garden for four hours and now have a burnt face. Going to make some pasta and then watch Wayne's World 2 with the nippers. Go easy and have good evening.
Mrs Simpson was passing materiel to a German agent. Her and Edward were given the heave ho out of the UK, a diplomatic job in the Bahamas.
Every ****'s focusing on the Queen who, at 6, could hardly be expected to know better, whilst ignoring the Queen Mum, who was revered as a 'national treasure' yet is shown by the evidence to have been a raving Nazi scumbag.
First of all the Queen was a child, so pointing the finger at her for it is unfair, as she wouldn't have known any better, she was just following everyone else. Also how much was known about the Nazis in 1933, I know they had just gained power in Germany, but had all the killings of innocent people begun by that point? So they may well have just been mimicking something they'd seen as a joke, not realising what the Nazi party would go onto do. It's impossible to predict the future. After all the whole of Germany had been fooled into voting for Hitler and his party, so I can't imagine his whole campaign was centred around gassing anyone who wasn't of a race he liked. You also have to remember that society was very different back in those days, most people where what people these days would call Xenophobic or maybe even racist. When far right party's in this country these days use people like Churchill in their manifestos, they probably have a point, as he or anyone else from back then wouldn't have agreed with how Britain is today. Wether people like it or not, it's true
Not by the public no, he was handed power by Hindenburg amongst others. He then used a loophole to claim supreme power. The Nazi party were however the largest party in Germany, so yes plenty of people voted for him, were they fooled? I can't see how they would be, his whole ethos was in the public domain. Lincoln summed it up best I think. It's a very complicated story how Hitler came to power, but lots of people agreed with him, followed him even after the Holocaust was proven. Some may have been fooled, but not many.
I think they might have agreed with him to a point, but I'm not sure the majority of the country would have voted for the Nazis had they known they'd go as far as they did with their persecusion of other races. I doubt the Nazi manifesto said anything about gassing the whole Jewish population.
Well every **** knows UKIP are fascist morons but over 4 million of yoos stupid Nigels still voted for them.
Have you not heard of Mein Kampf? Hitler's feelings towards Jews was well known, that's part of the reason so many voted for him.
