A huge chunk of that money was spent on Di Maria who was lethal until his house got burgled and after that he looked shook. He said in an interview last year that he felt out of his comfort zone or something, so I'd imagine it's to do with LVG's 'philosophy'. He seems to work hard but maybe he's just not making the right decisions with the ball. Di Maria and Young kept him out last season, until we switched to a more fluid midfield set up then he literally had no chance - ADM couldn't even force his way back into the side at that point.
