CB is all about parings, I think he has been very good for us, but imagine him with Varane next to him (in our case Ilori). What a partnership that would be!! The guy passes well, he's strong, fairly quick for a big guy, good postional play. He just 'looks' awkward (note the word looks).

No point debating whether he is or isn't awkward. I'll set you a challenge to watch 15 full Liverpool games this season (that feature sakho) and I honestly think you would see how good he is. Also watch one or two national team games and you will see why we rate him so highly.

Watch him for a few games... he's a class act. In terms of PL centre backs right now there's not a lot of quality... Terry Koscielny Cahill Sakho Vertonghen Kompany None of them are in the top bracket with Hummels, Varane, Ramos, Pique etc though. Think this is one of the best things I've ever seen...
