CB is all about parings, I think he has been very good for us, but imagine him with Varane next to him (in our case Ilori). What a partnership that would be!! The guy passes well, he's strong, fairly quick for a big guy, good postional play. He just 'looks' awkward (note the word looks).
The twitter frenzy over Reus got so bad jame pearce had asked whomever out von tour and confirmed we have not bid for the guy.
Chelsea, who have had one £20m offer turned down, are set to make an improved bid for 21-year-old John Stones - but Everton are holding out for a British record fee for a defender. (Daily Mirror) However, Everton have told Chelsea to forget about trying to sign former Barnsley player Stones after insisting he is not for sale. (Kicca.com) Angry Aston Villa fans have made their feelings towards Fabian Delph known with a banner outside Villa Park after the 25-year-old midfielder changed his mind and signed for Manchester City. No point debating whether he is or isn't awkward. I'll set you a challenge to watch 15 full Liverpool games this season (that feature sakho) and I honestly think you would see how good he is. Also watch one or two national team games and you will see why we rate him so highly.
Mitrovic having medical at Newcastle. Think he'll be a good signing, there for a couple of years before a bigger team snatches him up for 25m
Watch him for a few games... he's a class act. In terms of PL centre backs right now there's not a lot of quality... Terry Koscielny Cahill Sakho Vertonghen Kompany None of them are in the top bracket with Hummels, Varane, Ramos, Pique etc though. Think this is one of the best things I've ever seen...
Stones showing why he's not a £30m CB yet, following the ball and ignoring his man who slips past him to put arsenal 3-0 up
He won't get much first team experience no but he would be coached well and have experienced defenders to watch and learn from #betterthaneverton
But he will have to do 7 times more defndig at Everton so in terms of practice he'll get a lot more in the games
