Apart from the 3 seasons in the sixties with wide stripes, 1 season with a narrow black stripe and 1 season with two black hoops, half the seasons, we did indeed have plain shirts. http://historicalkits.co.uk/Hull_City/Hull_City.htm
The cardinals have played with a variety of jerseys and logos since their inception, sure the 'bird on the bat' logo and white/red uniform is the classic but they've changed as much as any other team have. You guys are having a great season though, I went to watch them play the Rockies at Coors Field last month, although I'm an adopted Rockies fan we went drinking with a few Cardinals fans afterwards, they were a great bunch!
I attended the first game of that series, the one where Holliday was injured. I love Coors Field, the only place in the world I've ever had an elk bratwurst.
I'm a Yankees fan and we have a saying. The reason that there are no names on the back of our jerseys is that the only name that matters is the one on the front. There was a time when all the baseball teams felt that way, now it's just us and the red sox's home jersey.
We were at the same game then, not a great one for you guys though! Yeah Coors Field is pretty special, I love how you can see the Rockies off in the background plus the trees in the bull pen and the home run fountain are pretty unique too.
I like it less every time I look at it. Still it does serve as a bencark that proves how good the old classic is.
Personally, yes, I really don't like it. I prefer thicker and proper black and amber stripes. Actually I prefer a proper tiger print but that's another story.
I'm the same, like it first time round... And after a week or whatever I really really don't like it. and the sponsor is not to blame at all.
Started watching the rugby and got bored, why are rovers playing in the same shirt as our new one? The only difference is the gun shot splatter on the front!!!
