I fully accept your point and your point of view, but my point is that its the modern way in the modern game, its time to move on and embrace your neighbours and their status in the game.

530 days is the average tenure of the last few Real Madrid managers - even if they win the Champions League!

Hold on aren't you lot doing the same thing? Complete overhaul thanks to recent sponsorship deals in recent times like Adidas DHL and others? You may well have spent half a billion on fees and wages just for new players by the time the summer ends. <laugh>

Of course because Adidas gives you the money and not a rich owner, that makes every differece right?

Sorry lad, football is a business, and in business you make the investment that gives you a return, not cack on about idenitiy. Stop trying to say there is any difference between the franchise you support and the franchise City are aiming to be.<ok>

Identity is just a concept for us fans, players like medals and money, they couldn't give a crap about identity

Wrong again Sisu, you're having a mare today mate. Go have a lie down. The 5-0 was deliberate by Mourhino. Much as I think he's a complete pr1ck that was a masterclass by Mourhino.

Of course it did, its easy to comprehend, you're dissing Rafa's managerial achievements based only on the achievements of a former Utd manager.

Time to move on UIR and accept that LVG's Utd would be lambs to the slaughter against the current Barca side.

Unless of course you know different.

Nice of it to be picked up by a national newspaper and not a cheap PR stunt by the local rag mouthpiece for the club <whistle>

"call her the Angel of Kindness" <laugh> <doh>

The bit below is my favourite if a little ill advised. Nevertheless a fitting judgement by her of the city <whistle>

“It will take some of the children out of their communities which can be another dark place for them."

Maybe that means you all need a trip to Disneyland?

The Echo journo never called her "an angel of kindness" the woman that runs the charity for kids who's parents have died and underprivileged kids said it, can't see why you'd make fun of a genuine gesture of kindness.

As for the "mouthpiece of the club" jibe, there isn't a stipulation that only kids that support Liverpool are included and your point about national and local papers, its stories like this that the national press don't like to print about the city of Liverpool/Merseyside as it doesn't fit their stereotypical agenda.

As for some Merseyside communities being "dark places", you aren't really going to pretend there aren't similar places the length and breadth of the country are you Trebs?, if so you've been brainwashed by the very press you're sneering at.

Who knows if the woman or kids at the centre called her it Page. The Echo reporter probably picked up on a passing comment and sensationalised it to glorify the myth around the Benitez love for all things Liverpool.

The mouthpiece remark wasnt aimed at the kids but there's no doubt that the Echo and the likes of Tomkins (not his piece I know) are a mouthpiece for the club and in particular have a psychophantic obsession with glorifying a man that nobody outside Liverpool really gives a flying fck about.

I'm not knocking what she's done by the way, just the manner and motives of the rag reporting it.
