That's one less asset for this board as far as I'm concerned. I received a request to post for a U.S.A. sports site. I initially turned it down on the grounds that, whilst I have a decent in-depth knowledge of English football in historical terms, I'm not as well informed on the modern week-to-week game as I should be. I don't know yet, Commo. For all I know the US boys might have moved on since I turned them down. I like a laugh, sure enough - witness the torrent of age-ist crap I get from that cheeky young punk, Blunham! .But I just feel when people are getting their feelings hurt over their personal beliefs - excluding effin Newcastle supporters, of course - then it's time we looked at ourselves. I have to say there's no one's posts I respect more. People make comments about Muslims etc without any understanding or knowledge mate ...... much like the Sun. I've never had any time for Arabs but am now working for one of the royal family, really canny bloke and I've changed my views completely. People's racist views are based on the flimsiest evidence and can change in seconds if they fancy a Muslim/Hindu/Ku Klux Klan lass. If you've gone for good them I'll miss you.

What a real shame mate. I make fun of all walks of life, but never to offend. Whether it's the Irish, the French, the Asians or the Yanks...it's always light hearted, never malice. If I'm one of those who've upset you pal then I'm truly sorry, I try not to generalise where possible and try to keep my obtusely atheistic views to a minimum but often things flare up from time to time. The trouble for me is people want to label Jihadi's extreme and everybody else 'peaceful Muslims' and I can't swallow that. I'm not gonna start another debate here on your thread about leaving but nobody is ever that far away from these types of comments nowadays in any medium, it's not exclusive to this kind of forum. You're a top poster from what I gather, I hope you understand that words just don't come out as intended and not everybody has the same level of vocabulary to get their views across.
