Do me a favour will you, just walk over to your lass and whisper 'love you' in her ear.. Sit down and feel the warmth..
You are just QWOP, you hang here a bit you hang there a bit, you say this, you say that but as far as me and the girls are concerned you are our QWOP. Doesn't really matter what you say, it's what you do that matters.. Night bonny lad, see you next weekend..
Love you man. Looking forward to next weekend and seeing you and the girls. Still have Ella's card sitting proudly on my desk!
He makes them look like a finely It was exactly how I expected it. Mendez using his wrestling to keep Connor at bay by putting him on his back. Once he was back up they was only go a be one winner though. Also will be a whole knew ball game for him though. He is an absolute machine! Hopefully they'll get it on in Dublin in October.
His power is immense, Mendes was either hurt off them kicks in the first round or he just wasn't fit for the fight. Mendes controlled the majority of the fight and McGregor's floor game looked way off the required level and looked desperate when he was asking the ref to get them up, tbh. Fair play to him though he done it again, he will need to go up another level to beat Aldo though...
Also is an animal. That's certainly the way to beat McGregor keeping him on the floor. He defo needs more work there to be the complete fighter. His coachreckons they didn't even train wrestling in the build up to the fight. I find that hard to believe!
He's talking horse **** isn't he, there's no way you would prepare to fight Aldo by not training big on the wrestling side of your game. Everybody that fights McGregor now is just gunna charge at him and look to take him down. His defence was poor against the take down. We do need to take into account the amount of weight he cut for the fight as well though. he looked great but it couldn't of been healthy and I suspect he wouldn't have been at 100% himself.
That weight cut was ridiculous. Defo can't do your body any good. This was how big he was about 6 days before the fight, and this was him at the weigh in.
He may need to consider stepping up a weight after the Also fight. Those long legs of his are just crying out to be punished from Aldos killer leg kicks!
You and I agreed mate, short on quality especially in defence, fortunately Van Awnholt stayed fit and Brown for the most part, an injury list like ours could have seen you relegated. Paolo worked hard on fitness and I think that showed last season, he probably instilled a very good work ethic amongst your lads on the training ground, not all was lost.
Ah yes, it was because Gus wanted the fifth cb to play fullback too, meaning one less defender squad to supplement other areas. Apologies fella.
All depends on performance if he plays well all will be forgotten and if he's ****e his AGENTS comments will be dragged up time and time again I suppose we can only wait and see
FFS, footballers are no different to us, one throw away remark is dragged up to justify whatever. We were newly promoted and nothing to offer a hopeful international rookie. Danny Graham was never allowed to forget his until DA gave him a chance to impress us, which he did. Time we all moved on. Live with it.
Wasnt it his agent who made those comments anyway ? I know Kaboul didnt want to come here and would have said so to his agent, but his agent's words arent necessarily his.
Oh yeah, then you fetched that Italian bloke in, in January. I forgot about that, I'll just be quiet.
