Well I know who I prefer Kaboul a tried and tested prem player for 3 million or Lombaert for 6 Million and no premiership experience, it's a no brainer. All footballers get injured its part of the game, I have no concerns about any of our signings so far.

The only reason you dont have time for me, is because you are coming out with statements without a clue how to back them up.

I'm not trying to claim a victory, I was debating with you about football, hence why we are both on a football forum.

If you dont want to debate, thats fine, but dont pretend its becuase you dont like debating with me, I havent said any thing offensive towards you. You are making statements about players, with no idea of what your actually meaning.

So one last time, how is kaboul more reliable than brown? If you dont answer the question, I'll assume its because you dont know and ill move on.

Anton Ferdinand has a lot of premier league experience, but I know who id rather out of him and Lombaert.

I havent seen much of kaboul in the last few years, because hes not been playing. But ill have to trust dick on this one because hes been prone to some very bad defending over the years. But hopefully at 29 his silly years are behind him, and his concentration levels are higher.

I hope I end up being proved wrong here, because the last thing we need is another bad defender.

Not at all, it's because you're a tedious knobsack who crept on here, posted virtually nothing and just waited for the chance to have a snide pop at me.

You're as transparent as you're tedious and I really don't want to play your pathetic little game.

You should really grow up ...... your previous identity resulted in you vanishing, this one's no better.

Hi T - I'm a new contributor to the site but it was his agent with insulting comments which were related to his clients reduced international honours if he came to us - not right imo - but we are not perceived by (southern based) media as a big club - YET - maybe after " Dickie's Influence" - but until then its always KTF and ETU with Sunderland

I bet half the time players spit their cornflakes out when they read what their agents have been saying. I remember the Kaboul one stung at the time but as you say it was his agent anyway so all water under the bridge now.

Pleased with the signings so far....Coates, Kaboul, Matthews and Lens. It seems Dick wants experience at the heart of his defense. Paying just 2 - 3 million for the defenders is sensible in my opinion. When you get to the other end of the pitch the transfer costs in the main tend to be higher...hence 8 million for Lens. Still feel we need another striker and someone in midfield and if we go for quality it's going to cost a bob or two. I think this seems to be Dick's strategy by keeping costs down on the defense but improving it at the same time and having a bit of change in the back pocket for players up front. We still need to move players on so lets hope we can generate more cash by doing that....

I gave up having heroes and respect for players ages ago.

These days I support the club & the shirt ...... who happens to be in that shirt is irrelevant as long as they do a job for us.

Doesn't matter fella, like I said later on it's a minor side issue which would only prove he's a dickhead and nothing else if he said them. It's loyalty once they've joined that matters to me. :)

For those interested, Kaboul explanation as to why he didnt sign for us (his words, not his agents)

    http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/145926/Younes-Kaboul-gets-shirty-after-making-point

Kaboul stayed at White Hart Lane after clashing with chairman Daniel Levy.

“He wanted to treat us like a cow,” said Kaboul. “I said to him, ‘I have a personality and a mind of my own, I am not a dog’. He said I was going to Sunderland, but I said, ‘I go where I want, not where you want me to go’. Sunderland are a decent club but I do not like people imposing anything on me, like you are a dog. Life is not like this.”

In their world the dogs get more respect than the women.

Shame that, dogs treat women with love, loyalty and respect. Something the men could learn from if they weren't so pig headed

    Had to get that in.

It's an offensive comment to dog lovers so I hope Younes understands when I talk about his rabble in the same way <ok>

I'd rather have a dog in my life than a ****ing curry bashing, bacon dodging, peado worshipping Muzzy.
