Not sure why. You seem quite capable of arguing with yourself.

Personally, I just wish HCST would be honest and just state they demand new owners as their primary aim.

I hope the Allams stay in control for a long time to come because that's the best chance of keeping this group of self serving bullies from being involved in any aspect of running our club which is their secondary aim.

There you go, fill your boots. Save yourself some angst though by not making demands of me. I'll respond when I want.

Do you work with any fannies who get the hump if the boss doesn't listen to them and who then quit too?

Fair enough. So would you say your company is pretty much the same as a football club then?

Hmm not sure what you're getting at. You saying Allam was my boss?

He may be yours, you fanny. But he certainly wasn't mine.

Probably not but as a company it's gone through so many changes to evolve and I think thats what football has to do to survive.

Thank you for at least giving a decent (sort of) response in your first post. That's all I wanted. <ok>

HCST is not not, nor has it ever been an Allam Out organisation, if that changes I'll make sure you're the first to know.

So most of the committee members disagree with the views of the more vociferous ones about wanting Allam out and are a silent majority?

I'm not really sure it's worth responding to any of your nonsense, but it's not about any specific crest at any specific club, it's about the principal of protecting historic aspects of all clubs.

Personally, I've no issue with badge changes, pretty much all clubs update their badges from time to time, but they should do so with their fans approval. Both Cardiff and Everton recently made mistakes with new badges, but they had the sense to rectify their mistake shortly afterwards, we aim to bring in new rules to avoid any clubs making the same mistake in the future.

I welcome the campaign to protect the heritage of football clubs. I do believe that it will have genuine support from the general supporter base of clubs.
Will it be adopted? I do not know. I personally would like to see wholesale change in the ownership of football clubs and the protection the leagues give to football creditors.
One of the problems is that money talks and lack of money is heard louder by supporters when times at a club are hard. By discussing options in a free and fully inclusive consultation process, many problems could be overcome.

A start could be made by the FA setting out what constitutes consultation. A mapped out process stating who should be consulted, what is meant by consultation and who pay's for the process. It would not be beyond the means of the FA to supply independent internet balloting if needed. There should never be a need for protest or protest groups for heritage changes. Clubs should engage with their supporters through supporters groups and dialogue with stakeholders, such as season pass holders (who are not members of supporters groups) Local councils, Supporters Direct and the FSF. They should set aside funding for groups to consult their membership.

It seems that everything to do with sport is for sale. The acceptance of this starts at a very early age in all sports. I do not agree with the need for junior teams to have sponsorship. There should not be a financial need. Field sports should be considered as a vital part of society and it should always be affordable.

I look forward to the day when free and open debates can take place with all sides in any football heritage issues.

It's not about the directors' views. I think Allam's a **** and would rejoice if he finally ****ed off, but would it benefit anyone at all for HCST to campaign for his exit? That's another matter entirely. I don't even know what the other directors think.

As for your suggestion that the majority think a certain way, that's strange since you told.me before that you don't know who most of them are.

I didn't say I know how they think, I inferred it from the claim that the Trust isn't an Allam out movement when posts from Committee members on here seem to aggresively conflict with that, especially if their views are questioned.

PLT has made no secret of the fact that he wants Allam Out, I wouldn't be upset if he went, but I've certainly never been an aggressive Allam-outer and none of the other Trust directors regularly post on this board(most have never posted on here).

    All hail the silent majority.

Let's hope that anyone questioning some claims about the club can be heard in an equally moderate way.

Open discussion rather than abuse and division is the way forward.
