Nothing to do with them celebrating City winning the league (weird thing for Sunderland to celebrate but it gave them the chance to have a rare enjoyable day out at their half empty stadium). I've always hated Sunderland. **** team that has always played ****, boring football but the fans seem to think they deserve success. Let's be honest, how many neutrals choose to spend time watching a game Sunderland are playing in?

I think "hate" is an overused and misused word. How can, and why should you hate something that doesn't harm you? I think most people (especially the thicker and less well-educated among you) use the word "hate" when, in fact, what you really mean is "dislike intensely." There is a gulf of difference and meaning between "hating" something and "strongly disliking" something. Looking these things up in a dictionary would be a good start, but I know that, for some of you, that is not an option, because even if you possessed such a book, you cannot read too well. Not to worry, though. I am more than willing to educate you. PS: I'd like to reiterate just how proud I am of all of us, that we have managed to keep a lid on the wumming, on this thread.
