This is about discussions with the FA on protecting the heritage of football clubs ongoing, it's not a Hull City thing, it's a football thing. It seems to me that vigorously trying to protect your "voice of the cretins" status.
You were. By me. So when you take me off ignore, can you answer my question about justifying your comments to me about me not knowing the difference between 'rape' and 'branding'? Cheers
Just been traveling !! So if you really want what know what I think. I see it as part of the HCST hidden agenda. A football club is a business like it or not so should be allowed to make its own desions like all other companies. Just because certain individuals didn't like the new crest by the current owner they want to try and emforce rules on how a new crest is chosen something that has never been an issue in the past very strange !! And for the shirt colour what exactly does it mean home or home and away kit ? At the end of the day it's a football team you either support them or you don't and if you want a say in how a club is run buy one.
Why? You already knew their views on stuff like this and now you've cluttered up a thread with your inane bullshit. As for the OP, I agree with the sentiment, but fear it may be too difficult to put into practice.
You really are a dim individual. This is not about Hull City, this is not about hidden agendas and this is not about clubs being preventing from changing anything. It is, quite simply, to prevent owners from changing historic aspects of a club on a whim, without the support of the majority of fans.
No, it shouldn't. Do you work for a business? I do and I suspect many others on here do too. I don't know about yours, but the business I work for doesn't have tens of thousands of people who love it. It doesn't have generations of families wanting to be there just because it's in their blood. It doesn't have those thousands come to the premises every other Saturday, pay £30 odd quid at the security gate and cheer and chant the company name. It doesn't have people paying £40 to wear the work-sweater we have on day in day out. Nobody pays £3 to buy our monthly newsletter. No-one follows our training vehicles around the UK in support. Nobody pays to come to my work. But people get paid to work there. And that is why a football club (and other sports clubs) is/are/umm different to other businesses. The sooner you and your lot and the Allams realise that, the better.
a football club is like a Grade 2 or Grade 1 listed building - if you buy one there are certain things you can do and certain things you cant - just because it is yours does NOT mean it's your money so you can do what you like - if you don't like that then don't buy a listed building / don't buy a football club
Here is a picture. charon-the-ferryman (left), Trau Morgus (right) please log in to view this image Eta: (probs a bit hard to understand. I was referring to me banging on about work and charon on about listed buildings but both aiming for the same point)
Historical aspects is to do with the past, so go on then tell me which crest you are trying to protect to my knowledge we've had quite a few. And yes it is all about Hull City.
Actually I do work for a company that has ten of thousands of people, 84,600 approx to be precise, some love it some don't . And it does or did have generations of families wanting to be there just because it's in their blood. And we do have people who pay to be at work with us from overseas, and for me it's a daily 140 mile round trip !! What does football provide? Entertainment Cso at the very least it's connected to the entrainment business Times have changed folk need to move on.
